Caltrate 600 mg is a medicine containing calcium in the form of tablets to swallow. Reserved for adults and children from 6 years old, they are available without a prescription.
Caltrate is recommended in cases of osteoporosis (bone decalcification) in the elderly, following menopause, taking corticosteroids, in case of resumption of mobility in case of prolonged immobilization or in case of calcium deficiency following an increase in needs (growth, pregnancy, breastfeeding).
Dosage of Caltrate 600 mg
In adults: 2 to 3 tablets per day to be swallowed with a glass of water.
In children over 6 years old: 1 to 2 tablets of Caltrate 600 mg per day.
In all cases, follow the medical prescription.
