What is Urosept used for?

Urosept is used as an auxiliary agent in urinary tract infections and in urolithiasis.

Urosept - action

Urosept is a diuretic drug, i.e. it increases the amount of urine excreted. The herbal ingredients contained in it are responsible for the diuretic effect of Urosept.

Urosept - composition

1 tablet of Urosept contains active substances:
• dense extract of birch leaves, parsley root, bean fruit - 86.2 mg
• dry extract of chamomile herb - 8 mg
• lingonberry leaf dry extract - 26 mg
• bean pericarp powdered - 78 mg
• potassium citrate - 19 mg
• sodium citrate - 16 mg.

Urosept - contraindications

Contraindication to the use of Urosept is allergy to any component of the preparation (also to excipients). The drug should not be used if the patient has edema caused by heart and kidney failure.

Urosept - use during pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnant and lactating women are not recommended to use Urosept due to the lack of data confirming the safety of the drug.

Urosept - dosage, method of use, application

The drug can be used by adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. Urosept should be taken 3 times a day for 2 tablets or according to individual doctor's instructions. The tablets are taken orally with a glass of water. During treatment, you should drink plenty of fluids - preferably lukewarm, boiled water or natural, non-carbonated juices.
